NOM Cd Free, Organic Soluble, Visible Quantum Dots have  fluorescent emission wavelengths ranging from 540 nm to 660 nm. They may be ordered in weights of 10, 25, 50, and 100 mg starting at $195.  The are normally dispersed in toluene, but other solvents are available by request.

Description

For applications where the toxicity of Cd based Quantum dots (QDs) limits their use, NanoOptical Materials offers Cd Free Quaternary Quantum Dots  (Q-QDs) composed of CuInZnS cores surrounded by a shell of ZnS.  These Cd Free QDs share the nearly ideal luminescent properties of other QDs because of their high brightness, strong optical absorbance over a wide excitation wavelength range, photostability and defined emission spectra.  These nanomaterials are finding a wide range of applications in a number of applications such as in vivo diagnostics, product packaging, and consumer products and in applications where their wider bandwidths are an advantage

The organic soluble forms of these quantum dots are surface coated with organic surfactants that make them lipophilic and dispersable in organic solvents such as toluene, chloroform, and hexane. These high quality Cd Free CuInZnS/ZnS core/shell QDs are available over the wavelength range of 540 nm to 660 nm, starting at $145. They are normally dispersed in toluene but other solvents available by request.  Click the product code links in the description table below to see specifications and spectra. (Water soluble forms are also available.)
